pip was a beast, who ran the offense? who was the man on defense. MJ was a beast defensively as well don't forget. but pip got down and dirty while MJ was just clutch, MJ gets all the credit he was unstoppable and pip just stop the other teams best player....

Scottie Pippen was the prototypical Basketball Player. The Complete Team Player. MJ was a great shooting guard..But Scottie Pippen epitomized and embodied what the Chicago Bulls of those championship years were all about..Organized Offence and Defence made with ease. MJ was more an individual while Scottie was the team player that made the plays happen. Without Jordan the Bulls werent flashy..Without Pippen the Bulls werent organized. Simple truth of the matter.

Bulls actually where seconds away fron reaching the finals W/O Michael. Pippen took them farther than jordan finishing 3rd in mvp voting. (Michael wasnt miss much when he retire, cause Pippen made a clear statement "he's been the true leader of the bulls")

FOR EVERY 2 POINTS THAT JORDAN SCORE, PIPPEN WOULD DENIED 6 and put the other team in foul trouble (offensive fouls), start breakaways,etc. Far more valueble than Jordan as a team.. and Basketball is a team sport
