@MOSKII58 LOL I'm with you man. just having fun with this other guy whom i thought was overating Dave's talent. Dave was a good cheerleader for the band but for the most part it seemed that Dave really didn't take the music too seriously and he was just on stage posing, jumping and dancing unable to remeber half the words to the lyrics he alone wrote. I wish I could have all the VH recordings with the voclas removed. I would love to go see Eddie, Alex and Wolf pure instrumental style.

@br0therfrank13 another idiot w/ a guitar man you are trippin' why do you think the songs continued w/ Hagar, it was Eddie comming up w/ the music & writing more than Dave..what did dave do after van halen just a gigilo, paradise, none of daves songs post van halen were anythg compared to with Eddie, cause eddie was the spark & the creative one..you are talkin out your butt just like dave..dave was lucky he got w/ eddie or you never would have heard of him..case dismissed.

this is why I feel Roth is underrated, as a musician. WHile he's not playing, he got great melody. He takes what EVH brought to the table, this wild guitar stuff, and made them into songs. added the writing element.
