3D Virtual Thriller

My version of, and a tribute to Michael Jackson's Thriller.
I made this for a technical challenge.
I wanted to make a short movie using as many techniques a I could come up with to learn more about 3d and film making. From texture design, character animation to camerawork and postprocessing. A showreel with a story.

I finished the movie before showing it to anyone... hope you like it!

how long you took in rendering all the frames? 28,000 fps ?

No idea how long the exact rendertime was but I started in December and ended in August. But I did not render every day.

hey man, did you do the sound design too? if so, MAJOR kudos to you, it's amazing. Im an audio engineer so that's what I noticed first. Great video!

Thanks! I did do the sound design, this was the first time I did it with 5.1 surround. The dvd version is available on my website.

WOW! great job man, I've worked with 3DS before, and I know how long it takes to animate. Lot's of patience. I've actually done something similar with Billie Jean, except mine is only 10 seconds and the only thing I did was the animating.
