Radiology iPhone Apps

Dr. Samir Shah shares his favorite radiology iPhone apps that he uses every day. He loves his emergency department radiology teaching app where users can pull up a case and scroll through an image, just like radiologists do on a computer. Dr. Shah also uses the vRad Results app. It provides physicians and radiologists all of the details of a radiology report and allows emergency room physicians to send real-time messages to a radiologist with the push of a button. Another favorite is an app that allows Dr. Shah to calculate patients' GFR or eGFR using different values and formulas to calculate kidney function.
