The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire

I recently read about this tragic event, and decided to make this video. This time it will not be about ghosts, or hauntings... but to tell about this horrible event.

On March 25, 1911 a fire broke out on the 7th floor. It raced it's way up to the 9th floor, forcing women to jump out of windows and fall to their death. Firemen tried to save the falling bodies on blankets, but the blankets would split in half, or the bodies would bounce off. Many women piled onto the fire escape, but it's metal bars gave out and they all fell to their death. A number were actually burnt to death. 146 young immigrants, mostly women, were killed that day. May they rest in peace.
