As we were cruising between Gwalior and Jhansi at 120+ kmph, we met the Delhi-bound Rajdhani with a 11-coach load. At that time, there were just two Southbound Rajdhanis - once-a-week to Bangalore and Trivandrum, each.

  • Missing my childhood days!!! Rajdhani's passengers were treated like kings back then, with excellent catering staff!!

  • @Benhur966 I totally agree with you. Back in the 70s and 80s, IR and the passengers had so much pride in the Rajdhani. Sad to see that missing! Now, you have the Durontos getting that kind of attention - more of a 'political' attention - since they are the pet trains of our 'Didi'.

  • the good old days?

  • @hsxtcqm Very much! Those days....when IR still had pride in its trains. Rajdhanis were treated as something special with good rake maintenance and no irritating ads on the windows!

  • gud speed and of course gud video..........

  • @Ponkshenikhil Thanks!

  • @avinaashsuresh This is between Gwalior and Jhansi. The Rajdhanis of those times were much better than today, at least, in coach maintenance.

  • What is the section?.The Rajdhani of those times are still pure as today.

  • good.......
