I always laugh at people who believe in real magic, but magicians are nothing more than mediocre actors with a few tricks up their sleeve, who think they're above it all. @fredericg54 personally, my theory is that there might be a secret door on the back of the safe that was hidden from the viewers, and when the camera took its eye off the safe at 3:38, he opened that back door, climbed out, joined everyone else running out of the building, and used a camera trick to get under the orange sheet
