This is an old song originally written and performed by my former band TheBrokenFaithInSaints. There is loads of stuff of the saints on YouTube. After 5 years and one EP titled "...and we're leaving broken hearts behind" we are finally considerering writing new songs for a follow up. This song here may have the guts to make it on the record, we had played it only a couple of times before we split up in 2006.

heyhey, and thx, dude. really glad you like it. it's an old song written by my former band. Percy did the riffing, I wrote the patterns and breaks in 2005. It has been played rarely live, 10 to 20 shows, not quite sure. It took me two days to remember everything...and another couple of hours and cans of coffee to record it! Greeeetz!

Dude, I know exactly what you are talking about, but I promise you: we all have the same problem. Not to get stuck within what we "always do" and "always" play. That's not the question how good you are at playing drums nor at doing/ being anything else but more a question of...eeer, I don't know myself...but by the way: I'll upload a new mix of this track (mixed with Ableton and SD) within the next hour. Bass Drum and Toms are more clear now... in case you want to work it out..
