    I have to agree with you to a point about them making the same mistake. But their tanks had nothing to do with it. The Germans were not prepared to deal with the bitter Russian winter. The Russians were used to it and could tolerate it much better than the Germans.

  • Nobody plays 1812 like the Russians... Hearing it live in such performance is my lifetime dream which probably won't happen anyway...

  • I am not sure whya re you talking about the Germans, you hear parts of the "Marseilles" - the National Anthem of France, and in 1812 is during the Napoleonic Wars, and they were celebrating Napoleons failed campagne and retreat from Russia.
