@Kathilisi The unit has a battery powered manual switch, enough to bring the bed out when there is a power cut.

blah.. that means i have to install the sheets on my bed every time i want to sleep. too much effort for me. cool idea though. just too much effort. when i'm tired, i don't want to have to make my bed, i want to hop in and sleep.
