yup, heard him tell Kelly Ripa he worked as a waiter at 16 even though he knew he shouldn't have been allowed to work yet. He admitted even as a kid, he wanted to earn his own money (never mind that the family had Vanderbilt millions) and at 11 or 12, there weren't exactly jobs for kids so he thought would try out being a child model. I think Ralph Lauren hired him then. Ever since then, he was obsessed with earning his own money. Now that's a rich kid with good work ethics.

Waiter? The grandson of the 2nd richest man in the USA from the Vanderbilt Family with his mom as Gloria Vanderbilt who is worth close to a few billions? This boy probably had butler/maid take care of his as well as many body guards.

@cpfishfan14 He has written that he was a child model (from about 10) until he was a teenager and then he became a waiter. He was really into making "his own" money and not relying on the family fortune from his mother's side. I think this is really awesome and also that he must have been so encouraged by his mother.

That's funny. I never thought about it that way, but then, "I" can't pour wine either and you'd never find a more gay person than I -- maybe Anderson!

Anderson was the best reality host. He was always having a good time with it and actually connecting with the contestants as people. He's doing valuable work now, but I miss seeing the fun side of him like this.

You are absolutely right, Anderson is into serious business now and his fun side has almost disappeared. I wish, too, that he would show his funny side more often. (sigh)
