On January 9th, 1942, Heinz Strelow walked through Berlin, looking for his friends in the resistance. All had been arrested. Part of the time, Katja Casella, an art student and remaining fellow resister, walked along with him. All they found were abandoned apartments, their inhabitants were gone or had been arrested. After the war, Katja Casella made a drawing about the experience. In 2008, Stefan Roloff animated the drawing after discovering that Katja Casella was still alive. The music was composed by Martin Rev. Heinz Strelow and Katja Casella had belonged to a resistance network which the Gestapo would later call the Red Orchestra.
