Triangle Tips
a.) Posture is key. Use your hands on your opponents head to keep his posture broken while you adjust the choke. Use your hamstrings to help assist in keeping him close.
b.) Obtain a perpendicular angle to prevent stacking and make the choke even tighter. You can underhook your opponents leg or arm to help acheive this angle
c.) Squeeze your legs together only when the proper angle is acheived. Make sure there is no space between his neck and your leg. Don't waste energy squeezing when you are not setup properly. I like to turn my leg into his neck to tighten the choke. Pull the head into your legs to finish.
d.) Anticipate that your oppenent will try to stack you and be ready to shoulder crawl back.

Thanx to Ryan Hall for helping me understand the triangle better.
