I'm not much a country guy unless you're talking Jerry Reed and Roy Clark. This song is the best rendition i have ever heard.

is this the only recording of this song? cause jerry reed (being one of the worlds definite greatest guitarists and musicians) CLEARLY has the best version. too bad i cant find any other recordings than this... can i???

@generalserling I was a bit disappointed by The Essential Jerry Reed, to be honest, and especially the studio version of Alabama Jubilee. They replaced this EPIC bluegrass version with a boring (by comparison) country version. The Essential is a collection of slow and very clean versions of his songs. I'd rather hear him rockin' his guitar like only he could. THAT'S why i think he's one of the greatest musicians to ever walk the earth.
