Info: Every day more than 1,000 people in Germany alone die as a result of cardiovascular failure. But if the patient is quickly connected to a mechanical circulatory support system like CARDIOHELP, doctors gain valuable time and can save lives.
CARDIOHELP is the worlds smallest and lightest (9.4 kg) heart-lung support system. The portable system provides an extracorporeal replacement for the patients circulation and respiration.
CARDIOHELP is light enough to be carried by one person and compact enough to be used in a helicopter or vehicle.
CARDIOHELP not only opens up new possibilities for the emergency services, but, in the view of experts, enables a paradigm shift in the field of intensive care.
