Some scenes put together showing the death of Niobe in the last episode of the first Rome season. A VERY tragical scene with fantastic acting. I cut out the scenes of Atia and Servilia and of the murder of Julius Caesar. Brilliant series. Check out my video of the murder of Julius Caesar.

The actor who plays little Lucius is so adorable! I want a son like that! His eyes are so gorgeous. Niobe too is simply beautiful. Where do they find such good-looking actors who can also actually act??

I don't wonder if Vorenus would have killed his wife Niobe because I know for certain he would not have. I think he would have gone so far as to put the knife to her neck and then he would have come to his senses, and walked away in anger and dispair. I don't think it was fair for the children to have such hatred towards him when they never fully understood how she died. He rescued them from the slave camp and did not kill or abandon the illegitimate child, their half brother.

I will always wonder whether Vorenus would have actually killed her I know its what honer would dictate for the time and I know above all else he always did the honerable thing. However something tells me he might of let her live he seemed so regretful after her death, and he did let the child live.
