  • sorry if this comes off wrong, but why even have a supercharger if you're only gonna run 6-7 lb of boost? I mean, this engine is easily capable of 1200 hp or more if you just run some more overdrive at like 20 lb boost. You can easily get 800 hp NATURALLY ASPIRATED from a 535, for a lot cheaper too.

  • I run 10 lbs boost on pump gas, 816 HP. Yea I can spin it faster with a quick pulley change and race gas, but it's a play boat and the hull only weighs 600lbs, so it's plenty fast on pump gas and very easy on the motor.

  • Check the valve cover bolt shimmying out! Maybe you guys should check those things just in case....

  • its not coming loose, its the slip on " T " on top od the bolt used to remove them fast. Bolt was tight.

  • AMAZING! Great looking set of M/T valve covers on it as well. A little old school for ya'!!

  • yea,...they are cool, but we switched em out for some sheetmetal ones, but will keep the M/Ts!

  • Nice smooth pull! It's soo strange to see a boat set up with all the guts and blower reversed!

Great pull!!! Godd luck to all you folks!!

  • @BugattiFan301 ~ PT #2: Drag racing, in the 60's, was so much more fun. Today the sport (in fuel classes) is simply all about pouring money down the corporate sponsored black hole. Cars running 240 miles per hour, smoking the entire quarter, can be as competitive AND much more exciting, safer and cheaper. There isn't a 1,000 foot run anywhere that can equal the excitement and enjoyment of what drag racing provided us old dogs with, 45 years ago.

  • @BugattiFan301 ~ I don't know if you are into drag racing 2011 but it's amazing how much more exciting, and cheaper, we could make the NHRA fuel classes if we would simply reduce fuel pump capacity AND the amount of overdrive run on superchargers. My first trip to the drags was in March 1963 at Lions in SoCal and from then until I was drafted (Vietnam) in 1969 I lived at the drags. What's missing today, from drag racing, are tire-frying quarter-mile runs. (continued.......)

  • jesus christ! how big is that fucking supercharger!?

  • HOLY SHIT, put thaty monster in a car and see where it takes ya

  • IF ITS GOT A HEMI YOU CAME TO WIN 1# SPOT FLAT OUT
