Puppy Mills- If everyone cared

Boycott this cruel industry! Puppies should not have to be products, and they should not be treated the way they are. Don't buy those cute puppies, you are only contributing to the puppy mill business. Please rescue or go to a reputable breeder.

People are greedy, and people are selfish.

They think about themselves when they sell them, and others think about themselves when they buy them. Sad, isn't it? what can be done? I've sent this on; but, you are preaching to the choir!

Thank you for your comment, but I am not "preaching to the choir" just the other day I got a comment how the they had never heard of puppy mills before. They had bought a puppy from a pet store, felt guilty, and learned from they video. People may already know when they see my videos, but a majority do not.

Very good video. I have sent it to all my friends & family. I also will not support pet stores - all of our animals are rescues. I can't believe that some people are unaware of the cruelty in Puppy Mills!

The only thing that took me by surprise was your comment "Dogs are not livestock, they have feelings, too!" Cows and sheep and pigs all have feelings too! ALL animals are sentient beings with feelings and deserve to be treated with respect and love.

This video gives a good understanding of the mainstream petshop industry (the same conditions apply to dogs but also, cats, ferrets, birds and so on), but is somehat bland and stops short on the levels of animal cruelty existing in the industry. Jsut an exemple: Ever wonder what happens to unsold "products" past their expiry date? They are sometimes simply fed to other dogs...

My dog's a street dog that I found and brought home as a puppy. I have never bought a dog from a petshop. Or breeders. I either find an abandoned dog or adopt from the RSPCA. I hate people who run puppy mills, they're cruel and money hungry bastards.

Well, maybe I used the wrong term. I just meant that the people who care enough to read and comment on this already know, and the word has to get out to the ones that don't. I agree with you that more people should be aware of this situation.
