that french errogant chef would say that . american would not know the difference. if julia chid was in france teaching american she should had no trouble teaching them french cooking since she learn from a french chef. it is true many american don't know on some real ingredients how to make the real thing and subsitute to the next thing they have. sad because american should not use the wrong ingredienst to international cooking then again nothing wrong with a twist either. still real is real.

europeans and american i have seen usually different ways to measure things like cups and grams. i know some cooks and measure with the palm of there hands in america and europeans like to use spoons and coffe cups to measure.

that was so disgusting the beef jelly mold. i think simon friend was upset with her about there cookbook together before they met julia. i think she wanted to stay friends and be close to cooking with them but be half involved with them.

use to watch julia child in the past when i was young but my mother and i was never so crazy about her even though we love so many old chefs from the past on tv. i miss the chefsi grew up watching when i was young,. they made cooking shows so fun and it was different than th ones today not that i don't like the new shows i do very much.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE BUT THERE ARE SOME PARTS I DO NOT LIKE. I DID NOT LIKE THE FIRST PART OF JULIE GIRLFRIEND TAKING THE BREAD STICK OUT OF MOUTH. DID NOT LIKE THE ERROGANT FRENCH WOMAN AT THE COOKING SCHOOL OR THE ONE TRYING TO TEACH HER FRENCH AS WELL.
