The concert was fantastic. The highlight was when they played the video of John singing Annie's Song at the Wildlife Concert. The Philharmonic played along. Annie came out after the song and she was clearly moved. She said that John was a beautiful man and she was very touched by all the love that night.

It was wonderful to see Annie speak about John and see all the artists who loved him and cared for him. I am still baffled as to why his second ex was there, she did nothing but rip him to the press and try to get all his money...oh and also cheated on him. She can't sing for crap.

@CRAZYBEAR404 Primarily because she's Jess' mom so it just goes with the terrritory so to speak. In some ways you would be snubbing Jess if you didn't invite her mom.as well. But I think the standing ovation for Annie spoke volumns of the respect for her and all the reviews and reactions I have read say that was the highlight of the evening!!
