Post trial and Post Implant Occipital Neuromodulation

With neuropathy and Charcot's disease, Louis was subject to pain all day, everyday. Even a spinal cord stimulator failed to bring substantial relief to his 30 years of suffering.

Since the occipital neuromodulation implant? He's "pain free..., and other things are happening that I can't believe are happening. The neuropathy, after 20-25 years is lessening. I'm getting feeling back in my legs.. back in my feet. I'm sleeping fantastically. Everything is just great."

This video, over a span of four months, uniquely shows the physical, mental and emotional improvements that Louis experienced as a result of his successful trial and permanent implant.

This procedure is performed by Dr. Joshua Greenspan at the PainCare Somersworth NH facility.

  • How much did you get paid for this informercial

  • @cdavydude This is an actual patient and he was not paid anything to do this. He is telling the truth, and had so much success that he was happy to talk about it on video. The doctor is documenting his progress so that one day he can publish the results in a medical journal.

  • watch my video its about a narrow stimulator and it getting infected

  • @imayala I think you meant "neuro stimulator," not "narrow stimulator." This happens to a very small number of people. The benefits of spinal cord stimulators far outweigh the risks.

  • I'd like to add though that this doesn't mean it will happen in EVERY instance just that it did to me.

  • be careful having htis done. I did and due the crappy hospital I had a haematoma at the site, then an infection that made me so sick I couldn't sit up for 2 months and then I had it removed. So all I got was a bunch of scars, very very sick and was almost left a quadriplegic... and now I'm back in pain, with no device.

  • I have a medtronics stimulator. For first week or so it was okay didn't take away much pain at all. Problems with it started not long after that. I couldn't feel it on the left side of my spine, and I had all the levels at the highest they would go. Now I have another problem, the charging belt won't work and the implant just won't turn on. I had a great doctor I think the product was poorly made bad a not so good company. If you are going to have a stimulator put in I suggest you make sure it'

  • I have had the stimulator for a good number of years and although not off all my medication I am down quite a bit the only problem being just now the battery has run out and I am back to being in agony so does anyone have any advice for me while I wait to be seen at the hospital also does anyone know if this would cause headache as I cannot get rid of the one I have had since the machine stopped working HELP please

  • I recently had a Nerostimulator trial and I am feeling extremely miserable. I am not sure but I may have an infection. I am hating life and seem to randomly think of death. 21 months ago I had 2 disk fused at Virginia Spine Institute ( VSI ) and now the pain is even greater than before the operation. My life sucks..my advice is never have a back operation especially places such as VSI.

  • where can i have this implant intaiwan?
