@pureSHRED Depends on what you need. Every DAW is different in some way. Logic is definitely an amazing DAW, but I do not own a Mac, nor can I afford one. At the end of the day, it shouldn't matter what DAW a person uses, as long they are able to create what they hear in their head. I know that logic doesn't support VST plugins and FLstudio does.DUN DUN DUUUNNN!! Come on man, you can at least give pros and cons to FL and compare it to Logic. That way, viewers can learn something.

@hadron89 I couldn't help that with my laptop,I had to use what I had. Also, its only my voice that is panned left. What is actually important is intact. As you can see by my other videos, that problem has been taken care of.Not where I want to be yet, I would prefer having stereo mix so that I can demonstrate and talk at the same time. But my laptops drivers and soundcard don't allow me to.One of the things an audio engineer must be able to do,and that is work with what he is given.

How do you feel about fl studio for mixing metal as a whole? I have cubase le4 aswell but I'm more used to fl generally. Why is fl never used for pro mixing or anything like that?

I'm pretty new to recording drums and I was wondering how you can get the kick, snare etc onto a DAW?

@moneymoney220666 why don't you use compresspr or limer?

Hey man, I'm in need of an answer from you. Is Beta Monkey just mp3 samples or is it like a VSTi? It looks like it's a VSTi on here, but I'm not familiar with how FL studio works since I use Mixcraft. An answer would be GREATLY appreciated.

The drum kick sounds like paper. I'm not a big fan of Meshugga's Bleed. Do they also cut out the low frequencies of the kick in other bands, like, say, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Dream Theater? I always thought the low freqs of the kick had to be pushed and that the high frequencies had to be cut XD so that's the pure opposite of what you're saying

@InfinityDz Well,if you cut the high frequencies, the click of a kick won't stand out in a mix.Not saying that you need click, but if you want the typical heavy metal sounding kick or even some classic metal, you will need click.Yes,you can actually add low's to the kick, but because that is so straight foward, that would have been a self-answering tutorial that everyone can catch onto on their own.The kick in this vid,is a good example of how an audio engineer can become an illusionist of hearing.
