please read details all i need is a variac

let me know if this setup will work for me i'm thinking i will be ok to plug this in with this set up should i use the capacitor or not will i blow a fuse or only if i add electrolyte and i have 41 plates in all please let me know if i go straight from the (BR) to the cell will i be ok from the 15amp surge protector into the wall will i blow the house fuse

absolutely thats what i'm thinking to i just got it powered up and my wife took my ipod so no stop watch that sux i will have some test up later tonite i'm thinking just over 1 lpm but thats with not even one teaspoon of soda

I wouldn't worry too much about the cap, the cell itself will act as a cap and therefore stabilize the voltage, but 40 plates, on 120 will be around 4v per space, and that will draw a ton of juice, I would definitly start with a half bridge first and check the amp draw. VAriac would be nice it you can get one, but you have to work with what you got.
