L'enfant et les sortilèges - Fantaisie Lyrique en deux parties - Ballet version by Jiri Kylian and the Nederlands Dans Theater, Orchestra national de Paris - Lorin Maazel
I'm completely carried away by this incredible, genial music and texte(for which I'm lucky enough to have the book, printed in 1967...in French) Thank you so much for
posting it..Such a genius...Ravel...everything he wrote is beyond beautiful...How I'd
love to be able to see Daphnis and Chloe this way,too
we did this opera about 10 years ago with Sir Simon Rattle conducting and I absolutely fell in love with it, it is so wonderful to see this production here, Thanks for posting it, and thank you Mr. Ravel....
This is a joy! My first was Hockney at the Met in 1980 as a kid. One of the most memorable musical events of my life!
I'm in search of a video of Balanchine's 1981 made-for-TV PBS "Dance in America" version from the New York City Ballet. I had/have a video of it somewhere but can't find it! It was co-produced by Balanchine with one of Jim Henson's co-Muppeteers, and it's magnificent. Someone out there must have an old VHS of it.......
Is this the final part???
