SPECIAL FEATURE: So who are the faces behind Paul Goodfellows video dairies and what do they really think about life in the RAF Regiment? Find out here as we catch up with the troops of B flight, 51 Squadron.


The RAF has given Paul Goodfellow a handheld video and a small 'lipstick' camera to create his films; he has no previous experience as a cameraman. His videos are checked in Kandahar to ensure they don't include any sensitive data, then sent to London and posted online.

PS) A lot of the ZZ Top beards has gone, due to the heat, etc! But Broms is still there! Longer than ever! Looks very Cool!

Thanks, yes we saw him on the preparing to leave lossiemouth vid. I'm sure a lot of other partners and parents would also appreciate a glimpse of their loved one also, just to see for themselves that they are ok and to make sure they don't look like ZZ top. Take care of yourselves.

I think the earlier videos before we left Lossie feature Brom. I will be doing a feature with the other flights as soon as I get the chance.

The videos are edited quite a lot for op security reasons, and a lot of the time, when something happens, Im too busy working to get the shot I want.

I will tell Sgt Brom you have left some messages!
