  • I lived in Uganda and the grass hoppers that are eaten are seasonal and 99% of them are green..the brown ones are rare..These grasshoppers taste like shrimps..if westerners can eat shrimps,,then whats the big deal about grasshopper..in fact in I think even after 30 years I can eat them again..Honestly, I think they pulled a fast one on this guy..they made him eat the crappy grasshopper which is seasonal & which the native wont touch..the squirrel too was prepared for him,,never eaten in uganda

  • @TheBrradsullivan lol, yeah but he meant 'wrapper'. Implying there is no store bought food.

  • Im Ugandan and ive NEVER heard of squirrels being eaten.. the grass hoppers are also never that big and are not filled with anything of that sort inside so im not sure what he ate

  • he should he squirrel cooked by the hmong the skin is the best!!!

  • "not a rapper in sight" lol

  • First of all, grasshoppers is/are not a staple food in Uganda like asperges(asparagus) in the Netherlands is not a staple food but enjoyed seasonally. Secondly if they are not in season, I wonder what bug was served? The picture shows a different kind of grasshopper or locust? The grasshoppers are normally green see picture posted by jplaroque. Lastly, squirrels eaten in Uganda? This is a first!

  • skinny africans are feeding the fat white dude for fattening up the meat.

  • @bobatube234 Yea that would have been true like 50 or more years ago...haha=)

  • @RelLieF Exactly what I was thinking...lol. I think some of the stuff they gave him...most of the villagers wouldnt eat...haha...they are laughing at him in the background...haha:)

  • Just had my first grilled squirrel last night. Tasted great.
