@motlencore89 If you are hunting grizzly with a non full auto 5.56 or 7.62, do your self a favor and remove your front site post, that way it won't hurt as bad when the bear shoves the rifle up your ass.

@SuperFunTimeShow Actually it probably is pretty quiet as the film suggest. Just judging by the size of the suppressor. Also 7.62x39 is pretty damn quiet compared to a higher pressure round like 5.56 or 5.45. That big slow 7.62 bullet has more advantages than just knock down, its alot quieter too.

@123SupArman123 I don't think it's an exaggeration on either side, merely a different perspective. I used to debate this with a professor of mine when I studied in Ukraine (he had served in the Soviet Army as well). AK's were primarily fired in fully-automatic and are accurate to about 300 Meters, but M16A2's are routinely fired at 500 Meters (and occasionally at greater distances in battle). They both have their strengths and soldiers/sailors/airmen/marine
s on both sides have adapted to them. -
This is rare a video with a real russian ak-47 (milled receiver)! Almost always people call akm (stamped) the ak-47 and very often even other variants and deriditives ak-47s like valmet m76 which doesn't look anything like an ak47 :p

The shock-wave from the supersonic bullet is still very bad for your ears. If the ammo is subsonic (under about 1000 fps) you can forgo the earmuffs with a suppressor.

@motlencore89 who the hell woud be stupid enough to hunt bear with a 223 (Im pretty sure its ilegal to use somthing that small) and if I has attacked by a bear Id just make due with whatever is on hand and just keep shooting till one of us goes down

@motlencore89 A 5.56x45 and 7.62x39 wasn't made to kill bears, but humans.

pip! pip! pipipipipipipipipip! gotta love it.

The camera doesn't do much justice to the sound of the suppressor, but its still probably very loud. Its not going to make it extremely quiet, its just going to lessen the sound and often changes it to more of a thud than a bang. That, and in case other people start shooting too.
instead of the receiver being made from stamped metal, it is one solid piece of metal milled out.

Hand made?
Milled means 'machined', the old ak47 uses a milled block of billet steel, using machining tools.
Its still a mass produced receiver, its certainly not customised or unique.
