The term and meaning of a Resource-Based Economy was originated by Jacque Fresco. It is a system in which all goods and services are available without the use of money, credits, barter or any other system of debt or servitude. All resources become the common heritage of all of the inhabitants, not just a select few.

"A resource-based economy by definition includes the participation of all people in its benefits. In a monetary system there is an inherent reason for corruption and that is to gain a competitive advantage over someone else." -JACQUE FRESCO-

  • @sailornaruto39 if people wake up to possibility of living without money, yes it will destroy monetary system.

with all technology we have and that include hiden and suppresed one, we can live in 100x better world for people and rest of biosphere. if you want do some research on "resource based economy" and nanotechnology (i recommend zeit news site), i think it will answer most of your questions.

  • @cirabree well since i wrote that comment i gave concept more thought. I don't find it practical to think of the world as it is just everything free. But i remeber this one guy told me that it can sort of be a mix of modern days with older days. Where ppl can choose to live where they want, seek what knowledge they want, and do what ever they want.

So iam curious, if the world gets screwed over by this whole finacial crisis it is in would that destroy money?

  • @sailornaruto39

best for them=best for everybody this goes hand in hand

you want best for yourself...and doing it so, you help comunity to have best for everybody.

  • What is best for them is to help society

  • All of them were confused ...so sad.

  • @Juefawn then when where are they going to get there tools? howw long are people ging to devote time making so much for everyone?

  • @bungit2003 This must be a principle. The principle of social work benefit. Replacing greed.

  • @sailornaruto39 There would only be the best since all corps would unite and market competition wouldn't exist.

  • @adawilkes1 that doesn't seem practical. "just make everything bigger"
