This song has special meaning to me. I had never heard of Starfield until last February. As I sat by one of my favorite person's bedside as she was dying (my grandma) I needed something...and so did she. I brought in my speakers into her hospital room and fell upon this band...and fell to my knees. I know she loved this album too by how she grasped my hand.

AMEN! May this song be our prayers that we should let go of everything and follow after Jesus who died on the cross to save us! In Him we have hope!!!

What is it in me
That hangs on for so long
Why do I fight the tears that come?
I work so hard to
Keep in control when
All that I want is to let go
These lyrics destroy me on the inside and constantly speak to me

I love worship songs that help me surrender more to my Lord. This song brings tears to my eyes and makes me want to give myself more completely to the Father.

this is my conviction song.. because at the end of the day its not about me or anyone else... its about Him. he was put to death and we were bought at the highest price; Jesus's blood.

This song made me cry because when I saw singing this at church, the message hit me so hard that I wanted to cry, but was holding it in till I saw the words "Why do I fight the tears that come?" That's when the traitor tears came streaming down my face. Then as we were worshiping, another line came up that said "Wipe those tears" and I did.
I thought that was pretty cool.

@JMElovesJesus um the wages of sin is death, it is physical. Just like 1/3 of times it may be not

@JMElovesJesus And I'm praying for you as well. Hope you're now back on His path and living out the Life. Praise Him and glory be to Him. May all your pains be taken away and finding only truth, love, peace and grace through Christ. Blessings~
whoa, this song is awesome :) i love the part "as gold to the fire, i will surrender to Your hand". confused me at first so i looked up "gold" and "fire" in an online concordance and each scripture mentioned throwing gold into the fire in a sense of surrendering or giving it up. this song is truly about surrendering. and i like it!!! :D

It's all for You
It's all for You
I'm letting go
I'm letting go
Amen. The chorus really means so much. Its all for you Lord. I'm letting go of my worldly possessions because you're my everything and all I need is you.
