Tiger Pet 1

Down in some pit thats part of some Animal Park about 2 hours outside of Bangkok, Thailand, they let you pet live (probably havily sedated) Tigers. A strange experience, but one I'm glad I did. Although I feel sad for the tigers as I'm sure there's something they would rather be doing. At least they have it better than the elephants. My friend in Tiger Pet 2 has a bit more excitment.

Sadly, as good and sweet as this looks, these tigers are sedated by the monks. Every day.

But that is not the worst the thing is that these monks do this so they have coverage over their tiger breeding programme. Of course they also breed those tigers to show to tourist but 90% of their tigers gets killed so they can sell their bones for medicines ):

Sedation's the only real answer; I mean, there is no such thing as a complete coexistence of two such species :/ tigers would eat us.

Exactly, No where in the states can you pet a full grown tiger, too many risk involved. They are def sedating these tigers.

its people like you who keep the tigers there if tourist didnt go and pay to see them they wouldnt be there in the first place
