  • please don´t be insulting! I don´t think arabian music is only ok if you´re arabian. Bellydance comes from arbian countries;-) and was alwas danced with arabian music! I didn´t say that NO other kind of music would fit to belly dance but This song is really not fitting. That´s my opinion and I have seen that there are others and that´s ok as well, you don´t need to become abusive if one says it´s opnion!

  • those aren't veils, those are Isis wings

  • Beautiful, love the Isis wings. She reminds me of a fairy dancing you out to the woods!

  • @Mothbelly

Honestly were they I wonder cut shorter? I have never seen them this short?

  • i agree that better music could have been selected-not necessarily the traditional but at least a little eygptian sounding - but the isis wings are mezmerizing. Going to find me a pair. The balancing of the candles is also an awesome feat here. all and all excellent - but the music no like metioned above.

  • I agree with a previous poster, this music just isn't doing it for me... it sounds like video game music to me! I like Arabic, Turkish, North African, or even some Spanish music for bellydancing. Some electro/industrial/noise works for tribal and tribal fusion, but this just... took away from Neon's amazing skills.

  • I agree, the song is nice

  • She's doing a great job! though- still I prefer not combining isis wings and candles. it sort of distracted me because it's something i've never seen before and i think isis wings and candles are so beautiful but I just don't like them combined, because you can't use the wings in their wholeness(no turns etc.)and the wings distract from how difficult it is to balance a tray...it looks more like a hat to me. Still she's doing great!

  • Isis wings like these are generally made of organza, which is light enough to float and stiff enough to take the permanent pleating. I haven't seen ones like these elsewhere - usually they are semi-circles with a longer rod, but these are half ovals and I think the way she uses them is beautiful

  • Wow! what is that veil made of I wonder.

  • I think that in this particular vid. she was trying to convey both in unison. This seemingly off-course technique may be odd to the un-trained eye but she uses much creativity, her movements are fluid and the emotions she display are more than convincing. Ofcourse, that's simply an on-looker's p.o.v.... >>
