@eeeen321 I don't know, this sounds kinda interesting as a story. I mean, there's no heroes they can only do two things. Go on some quest to make a guy become a hero, maybe by some old dark ritual make him become of hero blood, or they'll try to pull off the series without any heroes wich could ruin the series permanently in my opinion.

Now I'm depressed :(

Oh dear God, what the hell happened to Fable!? :/

@chickenruler I'm not claiming it to be a bad thing, I am merely stating a fact. Everyone seems to think that experience points and the like are what make an RPG but Fable III takes a more modern stance. I'm merely stating that whatever PM may claim, it is still an RPG, and I personally thought it was a quite good one. Although I would disagree that the lack of a health system that allows you to die is not a bad thing. It was my main problem with the game (Fable II also).

Ask anyone else who knows anything about gaming whether CoD is an RPG and guess what they will say.
The point is that people look at these games and say WHERE ARE THE EXPERIENCE POINTS?!!?WHERE IS THE HEALTH?!?!111??1?!?!
NO EXPERIENCE POINTS MAKES FABLE A BAD GAME!!!!
No it doesn't! It makes it a game that is not a traditional RPG. Just look at the difference between unbiased user reviews and critic reviews and you will see. It is more casual but that also makes it fun.

@chickenruler I can't find "Part1"
You can over explain/define all you want, it won't clear up LH's mistake(s).
I never said that F3 was an RPG game, I said they have gotten further and further away from RPG each Fable game, and I have also grown farther and farther away.
I know what the hell an RPG is, and I know how to look up the definition(s) on Wiki; the point is, LH is not good/creative enough to make a pure action game from the Fable series; and this rail-based "Wii'ish" game is BS.

@chickenruler A role-playing game (RPG) is a game in which players assume the roles of characters in a fictional setting. Players take responsibility for acting out these roles within a narrative, either through literal acting, or through a process of structured decision-making or character development. Actions taken within the game succeed or fail according to a formal system of rules and guidelines. (WIKI)
There we have...
Fable III.
And yes, EVERY game except maybe puzzle games are RPGs.

By your logic, Halo and CoD are RPGs because you play in the role of someone. Are they RPGs? No. These games might have to make you play in the role of someone but that doesn't make them an RPG.
Go look up the definition of RPG in terms of gaming.

that made me feel sick
Unless there is a Fable4 on the way with a lot more evidence LH listens to their customers, R.I.P. Fable!!!
I hope this is just some trendy Kinect-tangent before the real Fable sequel comes along...
