@arthurs12inchcook If I'm not mistaken, there were several genres of music in the 80s and back, a lot like how it is now, so, for me at least, to put ALL of 80s music in one category is just inaccurate. I for one am not 'stuck in one genre' or time period, I listen because I like certain types of music, and you might feel a similar way, in that respect.

I wasnt grown in the 80's and i love this kind of music.If you want a modern band who plays 80's like music(but actually new tracks)i recommend AWESOME Russian Tesla boy and Swedish Colony 5(this band plays some techno/future pop but some tracks like "Fusion"and "Plastic world"resemble 80's).

i grew up when this music was in its prime and i lived in several countrys due to my dads job and i was exposed to it and love it to this day, even though ive heard this song many times still to this day i always find a song that i never heard that blows me away in this genre, the people that made these songs back then were so talented and they always tried to convey a good message, guess i like this music cause its happy music and mainly of course is the beat,nothing like italo beat, nothing
