Hello,
I just wanted to mention that this device is not a hydrogen fuel cell, it is a water electrolytic cell which is quite different.
A hydrogen fuel cell uses up hydrogen to produce electricity.

its definitely not a fuel cell
by the way have you seen any videos on how to make a home made fuel cell. its something i would like to try but havent found

this concept would work really nice if you were making the gas next to your garage and then pump it into your car safely. making the gas off a battery in a car while driving isn't very efficient.
very nice though, I would use at least a hundred or so stainless steel fine screens in parallel and use my house hold current to generate my hydrogen for my own station.

Yep. Sodium Hydroxide. That's the magic ingredient.
BTW you said 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon, but into what volume of water? It looks like he's got about 5 litres there but it's hard to tell.

well initially it would produce hydrogen but then it heats up and all u got is a water heater

I am up to 12 plate cells that run great in the car.
It heats the water but keep producing great. Please creates quite a nice MPG boost.
