Make sure you're driving as left as possible on the track, just before you're about to jump. When you're in the air, press the DOWN-arrow and keep holding it. If you hold it long enough, you will be able to jump for 3 or 4 times.

Make sure you're drifting when you hear the noise of a blue shell that is coming for you. When it is making a circle above your head and when it's about to strike, you have to release the R-button and tap the R-button again.
