Why does everybody flip out about the stupid check engine light!?!? Most of the time with the cavalier as it is with mine it goes on because of Transmission codes, like pressure codes or emission shit! Mine does only get 20 mpg (Not sure why!?) and it's a N/A (Naturally aspirated for those of you who don't know what that is) 2.2 ecotec Rebuilt (23 engine dyno pulls and only 500 miles on it) and hot rodded (bigger pistons, full head porting, Tsudo 4-2-1 exhaust with magnaflow muffler, stick cams

@jimmynb3 That's a shift light lol stock shift light will blink for fuel economy but if you're flooring it, it will blink at redline which is 5600 but he's shifting at 8000 lol

At the time of this vid it was just shy of 300whp. The car was limited by the air the M62 charger could flow and was built for much more. Before I went turbo I ended up parting it out and starting another project.

Eagle rods, wiseco pistons, removed balance shafts, patriot cnc ported head, si valves, psi springs, trick titanium retainers, comp cams, adj cam gears, M62 s/c intercooler setup, spec stage 3+ clutch, rk sport aluminum flywheel, racetronix fuel pump, 550cc RC injectors, HP tuners for tuning, that's most of the list anyways...
The car is a 5speed, currently w/ the 2.8 pulley it's at 13psi or so. 90'ish sounds about right for a 3rd to 4th shift. I rev to about 8k so 3rd goes to about 110mph
