Battle Rap veterans Fresco (Rockford, IL) and Cadalack Ron (Los Angeles, CA) face off in the first ever written battle over beats. Props to both of these MCs for being the first to test out this brand new format.

  • Avoid using complicating beats with a lot stuff going on. The second beat was perfect, just a drum beat for the rhythm and a baseline so when the MC spits you can hear exactly what he's saying. I agree with @grumpywilson83, give the MC's the instrumental so they can have a more confident performance so the battle/verses come accross better.

This is an interesting format tho, I think camera quality/lighting quality/SOUND quality has to improve drastically for this to look as cutting edge other-

  • @collegediplomacondom FUCK YOU! and fuck the mother who birth you! if you're so smart why not solve the "importants" yourself.... and what the fuck is a "collegediplomacondom"? why the fuck did you even click and watch this video if you're just gonna say shit like your non-supportive-parents? listen you misfortunate 35 yr. old undergrad high school, get a life and quit hatin on things coz this video has more views than people have had ever glazed on you.

  • Is that Ice Cube in the background?

  • this battle would have had so many more views without it being over beats, just stick to the usual format. caddy vs fresco would be a classic if it was done how it was supposed to. awful sound quality and visuals too

  • Last beat. Now don't really care wat you call me. From Eminem lol

  • fresco's flow is clean as fuck when he uses his writtens over a beat. 2nd verse was sick

  • an interesting experiment. Fresco did all right but Cadalack Ron did no deliver.

that first instrumental is great on it's own, but it just was not a battle beat. 2nd beat was prime for battling, and Fresco didn't fail to utilize it. but that 3rd battle was also hindered by that inappropriate instrumental. overall Fresco did his thing alot better though.

  • the beats were horribly selected

    all 3 of em

both of em wouldve spit a lot cleaner if the beats were actual good ones

  • what a wast of a battle with this silly beats,

  • fresco's second was dirty if only he remembered the 1st n 3rd

  • The beat to the second round is an unreleased track from Cadalack Ron's new posse cut. It's produced by The Briefcase.

  • Anyone know what the name of the second beat is?
