A song I wrote, followed by an explanation of what it's about, and how my life has gone full circle since I wrote it -_-.

"Don't think" uses some of the same chords, and the pattern is definitely similar so I see where you're coming from :-p. Though I hadn't heard that song until just now so don't worry I didn't plagiarise it ;-). Just finished my UCAS application ten minutes ago, and it is pretty good I think, if they don't accept me then I'll cry cos I've spent days refining every last word of it :-(.

Glad you like the song, and I like it when people can relate to it, makes me feel like I did something right ;-)

Have you ever considered journalism?

If you got a job with a magazine you may be able to get your photography in there as well. Also it would better your writing and even if it isn't creative writing, it may help you with songwriting.

Just a thought. :)

I might give journalism a shot, but I'm not sure I'd be good at the writing part of it, I'm not good at essay writing and stuff :-/. Maybe I could figure it out though. Thanks, :-)

Glad you liked it, I'm sorry to hear you're in a similar situation, it sucks a bit doesn't it? I'm good at writing personal statements, and I think that's the main reason I got in, my personal statement was awesome :-p
