This was a variation of the $20,000 pyramid hosted by Dick Clark in 1979. This version had NO celebrities on the show and consisted of an adult with a younger child (such as a son/daughter, sibling, etc.) The children had 35 seconds to convey seven clues in the main game. The Winner's Circle consisted of the same six categories in 60 seconds. Wins here were $2,500 for the first time, $5,000 for the second time, and $10,000 for the third and final time.

  • Is the second one from an all star celelrbtity cause that little boy won $10,000.

  • When was announcer Bob Clayton's final appearance on Pyramid before he died of cardiac arrest or something?

  • Why were the denominations in the winners circle higher for the kids and not the adults?

  • hahah that little kid iz my cuzin....hahahahaha

  • Hey thanks for this trip down memory lane! The kids were such good sports. I wonder where they are, now???

  • One annoying aspect of this version was a tendency to give clues know only to the players (ex: "Where does Uncle Harry live?" for "Buffalo"), not to mention the kids had a tendency to be short w/their parents if they messed up.

  • This is the first time this this show "The Junior Partner Pyramid" had no celebrities, just kids and parents vieing against each other for the ultimate cash prize.
