I love this show. This was my favorite show of all time and I balled at the end. I balled even harder as an adult and I am crying my ass off right now.
This show deserved one more season, just for the sake to see them graduate high school. Given the circumstances, it was a good ending. What gets me the most is that Jack dies only two years later. But then again its a homage to true life, we never know what will happen.
The name of the music is The Prologue 1915-1923 by Randy Newman. I still get goosebumps when I listen the tumpets of this song. One day you're in diapers, the next you're gone, but the memories of childhood stay with you for the long haul. After all these years I still look back in wonder....
