@crazyultras I'm not sure it was modified all that much...It's just a typical flat sound from the studio itself..also her normal recordings are usually recorded with a fair amount of reverb..I think thats what most of us are used to hearing.This particular recording shows her versatility...but I agree,nothing tops her Live sound!

Yes! And better, even largely better than the original. Draws your attention on the text, she sings it with kind of more-than-original-feeling and the old man relishes it.

I am a massive Kinks / Ray Davies and Amy MacDonald fan. Love this song, love Amy! I have ordered this CD from Amazon, but will be away when it is released. I'll change the delivery address I think.
