  • its so nice how well they get on! Budgies just seem born to grooom, don't they?

  • @dinksta Ya pretty much haha! How kind of them to do that for other birds!

  • @TheBrightSkye I wish my Quaker allowed other birds to be around her! She has systematically made it so she is the only bird left in this house! When she got here 18 months ago, we also had a Budgie plus two Cockatiels. Jub-Jub caused absolute havoc! She removed two toes from one Cockatiel, one toe from another, then they flew away at different times at a later date. Then she MURDERED our budgie and ATE IT!

  • @dinksta Thats a little scary... how does a bird eat another bird that is almost the same size as itslelf?! Thats horrible!!! Maybe it just wanted more attention and was getting jealous so...NVM! No my birds were not raised together, but they were both handfed. My quaker doesn't mind many people or any other pets I have, but he does not like my sister. I have no idea why, but he always hisses at her and reaches to bite! I think one reason that may be is because she teases him sometimes haha :P.

  • @2434ish I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH BrightSkye! PLEASE, WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT GET A QUAKER AS YOUR FIRST PARROT! THEY ARE SOOOOOO MUCH TROUBLE! They give a lot of joy and love, but they can be very stressful and messy and destructive. Budgies are awesome! Check out some more budgie videos, They are so smart and their poops are TINY! Oh, and Quakers can live for up to 40 years or so.... Do you have the commitment to look after a screaming two-year-old child for that period of time? haha

  • Needless to say, Jubbie loves being an only child; the last pet on her list to be "eliminated" will be our chihuahua Cindy! Were your two birds raised together? Is your Quaker ever vicious towards any of your other pets or inanimate objects? ); My baby can be such a sweetie and is an excellent talker but she is soooo jealous and vicious! I heard the word for it the other day - "overbonding" they reckon it's called....

  • @2434ish Well some parrots are called parakeets because of their size and how they look, but they are parrots such as the green one is a quaker parrot. The other one is a parakeet or also known as a Bedgerigar. A parakeet like the small white one I have would be the type I recommend. I am glad to hear you want a bird, they are great pets and parakeets are a great first bird.

  • @TheBrightSkye what kind of parakeet is it?

  • @2434ish I dont have a favorite between these two because they are just really great birds and I love them very much. For your first bird I would recommend getting a parakeet just because they are the easiest kind of bird to care for if you have not had any experience on having a bird these are the best to choose. I wouldnt recommend getting a parrot for your first bird just because they will bite sometimes and make huge messes and they are a lot to care for.

  • Hi i am wanting to buy a bird which bird is personally your favorite or the better bird.
