Apparently, all you people have a different Bible than mine. I guess someone ripped the page out of yours that tells us not to judge. Or, maybe you all just read your Bible and focus only on the parts that you can throw in other people's faces and conveniently ignore the parts that tell you you're not doing so hot yourself!

God's gifts are without repentence. He never takes them back, thus the annointing on the songs. Many "worldly" singers seem to be annointed: Neil Diamond, to name one. But true annointing is from God, who bestows it upon whom He will. Maybe this song is so annointed because Ray is singing about his own struggle with homosexuality that he knows does not belong in his life. I pray he is healed from his struggles and he finds the courage to stand again and be counted. Jesus loves him.

One of the things people fail to remember that Jesus said, is, "Out of the mouths of babes and sucklings, thou has perfected praise." The ability to praise perfectly does not indicate your maturity. Let God judge Ray and do not through out the preciousness of this song, because of what you think of his conduct, or lifestyle.

I think that we should just love Ray and pray for him. I can't imagine what his family must be going through. We need to keep this whole family in our prayers.

Actually this song was written by a man named Lawrence Chewning. Boltz accepting Christ as his Savior during one of Chewning's concerts. Chewning's original version of this song is longer and has an extra verse (maybe two, I can't remember). Boltz loved the song and got together with Chewning to shorten it.

His songs have brought many to Christ,
God uses imperfect vessels to achieve
the goal of bringing believers into the fold,
he will continue to use these songs as a
message of love, guidance and comfort
to all who will listen and accept his as lord
and savior. You don't have to be perfect for God to Love you, all you need to do is
accept him.
