I have a really hard time telling the difference between bagpipes and Drehleiern. Am I right in thinking these are bagpipes? Maybe not in the very beginning, but the rest of the song?
Hrm. Not an expert, but I believe the intro is played by a hurdy, Drehleiern, and the rest of the song is played by a (type of) bagpipe. When the actual song starts, after the hurdy intro, you hear a distinct monotone humming sound in the background. When you play a bagpipe, this tone is produced. How or why precisely, no clue. So bagpipes indeed!
@ramzing Well a monotone humming is made when you play a hurdy as well, though how different it is from that of a bagpipe, I can't tell, since there're hardly any decent videos that shows one or the other without a lot of background noise or not playing a song.

@GotischOberst Hrm...good point. I'm (maybe) seeing them on saturday, and I'll ask if they use a hurdy or bagpipes.
