Two thousand angry Australians gather to demand gun rights and justice. Ginny Simone reports that the people of Australia gathered at the feet of Parliament with signs and outraged chanting in protest of the country's gun bans. Interviewees from the crowd discuss the gun buyback that required citizens to surrender their weapons with the threat of jail, an event that resulted in the confiscation of over 6,000 guns. With millions of dollars spent and no reduction in crime from the gun bans, Australians demand the right to defend themselves and to feel safe in their homes.

  • This is exactly why i ignored the call to hand in my firearms. I'm keeping mine legal or not. I will protect my family.

  • Australians are so slow to realise that elected governments are mere puppets who are controlled by the corporate/financial fascists who own the vast sovereign debts of every developed country in the World. It makes absolutely no difference who you elect because control of current legislation and implementation of future policy is controlled by Globalist financiers who regard ordinary people as mere livestock to be herded into paddocks and forced into harness or culled when necessary.

  • @Antifaith29 funny thing is, i'm a police officer in Northern Ireland. but I'm british. i moved here because of the ridiculous gun laws more than anything. if they tried to ban handguns for Northern Ireland, or even if they tried to disarm the police (police are armed with SMGs and Glocks here), there would be riots. 22% of people own guns in N.I., as opposed to britain's 2%. and the people, and the government, have both said that that will likely never change.

  • I've lived in Australia all of my life and even studied law here for a while.Just about all methods of self defence are illegal here.Done in the name of public safety but it hasn't made my life safer.I've been assaulted several times, have survived home invasions and attempts on my life by a career thug the courts kept on releasing.

  • in Australia they treat you only as a number also the media portray false stories and incite panic in the population piss of Sherlock imm aussie and i am sickened by peoples lack of respect for our queen

  • @IndependentForPres they can get together with a bunch of their rich prick friends and buy up all ammo manufacturers and stop selling to civilians or possibly even ban ammo. that's what you really have to worry about.

  • @Antifaith29 God bless you. Every gun owner should act the same way you do.
