  • Dont fuck with the lakes.

  • great work absolutly brought tears to me eyes....the fear in the voice of the captain of the Anderson when they asked him to come about but he still did it what a brave man knowing that he could end up going down just a great peice of work

  • @jgreenleaf18 i fish michigan very regularly and fear it every time i leave harbor

  • I am originally from the State of Michigan and it iis my heart-felt opinion that the Michigan Coast Gaurd should be ashamed of thenmselves for sending out the ships that had made t to the harbor of White Fish Bay instead of going out themselves...they knew the conditions of the weather...

To ths day tears fall down my face for the 29 men who lost their lves the day...May God have them with him...May those men always know that they will npt ever be forgotten...

  • not gonna lie...i know nothing about boats and live nowhere near Lake Superior, but the images of the Edmund Fitzgerald wreck are pretty haunting

  • spent years on the east coast...shrimping... not on the Great Lakes....but the best idea as i can see is they broke apart when the trough of the wavevs left No support for the mid of that ship

  • How ridiculous and irresponsible was the Coast Guard to ask the Anderson to go back out there? So instead of one ship lost there'd be two!!

  • as a navy vet that was on a clg-5 flagship,far east/asia tour.I was in a typhoon,believe me,it is some BAD STUFF.

  • This is haunting.

  • OK...I've got a confession. I don't have a dry eye. Although I am very familiar with the Fitz, having grown up near the Great Lakes, I never thought to look at YouTube for videos of the disaster.. I certainly got more than I bargained for. Thank you for posting, and keeping the memory of the men alive.
