Trail official should have whistled it dead since both had a slash. It did not look like the official was too experienced with his shirt out and so far ahead of the play. If he was the only official, he definitely was too far ahead of the play. Both players should have been given a slash and the one who chased either a playing without a stick, at the least, but definitely UC for the tackle. I feel it could have been prevented by the official, in my opinion.
