@3LilyLil Lol do u think we hve the time to make a platform for others to walk on? That's part of the job steep hills and dangerous terrains we hike up them no matter what, we dnt hve the time to put in walkways we must dig line and complete it and push it for miles there's and we hve our protocols we follow in every situation, there are times we hve to cut line down hill and sometimes yes with fire below

People don't be dumbasses, I live in Colorado and forest fires are a common thing, don't walk on the sides of a hill with a fire burning below and you know that you might end up in it. Another thing to bring with is a strong, sturdy shovel with a moveable head so you can make a flat walking path for other crew to walk on. DA

Lmao... @zdonjuan1 I think hawktana wouldn't be able to handle IHC he's prolly a municipal guy, he's the one u see wearing full yellow and gloves in the line to chow

As a firefighter myself, gloves are mandatory P.P.E. gear that must be worn on site. This dude zdonjuan is is an IDIOT!

Ah I've been there. With gloves on... SHF

hahahahahaha silly eastern IHCs!!

Hazard
gloves are required when in or near fire. not when walking. pull your head out of your ass Hawktana, safety is about using your own judgement and being willing to live with those consequences, not about simply following rules handed down from some "authority". if you wanna simply follow rules and be a robot, go be a firefighter in China. if actually wanna learn a thing or two, try an IHC for a few years.

This is not an eastern crew. Eastern CA perhaps...
also, gloves? ooooooh yeah, wouldn't want to scratch your hands on that dirt, that would be dangerous.
