Congratulations on your new DCC system There shouldn't have that much trouble , Just power everything up. I have the Digitrax Empire Builder and it works fine. but if your power travels around your layout just through the rails, the farther you are from your feed the worse the performance. To fix that, feed parallel wires of 16 guage or better along under the layout and feed to the rails every 4 to 6 feet with wire drops and you will not loose power through the layout

@ShrinehillRail yes we have the layout split into 4 sections with wires that all lead back to the power unit. to deal with that problem. thanks for the information anyway!

Congratulations on getting the DCC system! It can be a pain sometimes, plus having to be decoders for all you engine. But it is worth it in the end.
