Jewish Temple in Jerusalem to be Rebuilt!

When Jesus foretold the destr. of the temple in 70 A.D He didn't say the physical temp. would be rebuilt. He said He was the temple. Why do we need the 'shadow' of the things in heaven? We don't need the priests etc, as the sacrifices have been done away with. The new Jerusalem will come down out of heaven, so why would we need a physical stone building? I don't understand. Paul's references in Thess are surely to do with the 70 AD desecration of the temple??

Yes, you are correct that we as believers in Jesus do not need sacrifices. The Temple that will be built in the trib. will be built by Orthodox Jews who reject the sacrifice of Jesus. In Matt 24 Jesus said when the abomination stands "in the Holy Place" (Temple) flee to the mountains. He is talking about the Temple that will be built in the trib.

Paul is also talking about the future trib Temple that the anti-Christ will desecrate. That did not happen in 70 ad.. See also Rev 11. Thanks, Andy

There is some question regarding the actual location of the temples.

This person, Norma Robertson has 6 videos regarding the mapping of the temple mount.:

If she and the others who agree with her theory, are right; the Dome will probably remain but the Al-Aqsa mosque will be demolished.

Personally, I take the view the Temple will be built just to the North of the Dome of the Rock based on the writings of Josehpus, the Jewish historian.

Yes, I have seen his video on the Ark but I do not believe he actually found it. He made some very interesting discoveries but was also known for being a little sensationalistic.

It is unfortunate the devil has established one of his own buildings on the temple site, a Mosque. God will take care of that though.

People point at him and falsely accuse him of being the anti Christ and the real anti Christ will rise up and slay him and the world will celebrate and give gifts one to another and his body will lie in the streets 3.5 days at which time he will be resurrected and fear will come on the world as they will realize they killed the God.
